Dear Curling Friends !

We are very proud and happy to invite 12 MD teams from all over the world to visit Almaty city, Republic of Kazakhstan.

KAZ Ministry of Culture and Sports, National Olympic Committee and Almaty City Hall are supporting the Event.

Accommodation, Inland Transportation, Catering, pretty and nice presents are from our side.

2015, 2021 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, 2017 Winter Universiade, WCT MD event 2021 were successfully held in Almaty.

The Venue: Almaty Arena, small Ice Rink. 533 seats, restaurant, 4 big changing rooms for 180 athletes, all the necessary rooms and technical facilities. Nice and clean and safe surroundings. The Sport Ice Complex ALMATY ARENA was erected for the WOG 2022.

6 sheets of play.

System of play:  2 groups out of 6 teams in each group, QF, SF, F; 5 games guaranteed, max 8 games.

Registration deadline: April 23, 2022.

A special KAZ Government Protocol would be issued regarding the Permission to visit and escape Kazakhstan for each athlete and official.
